Settled in a quiet neighborhood called Candler Park on the east side of Atlanta, we sold out of our signature biscuits by 11am that day. We had to ask someone else to replenish our coffee, and it was not hot. Our first café opened for breakfast at about 7am one morning in 1993. The server could have been more attentive also, as he did not come back to our table to check on us. The server brought me a new set and unfortunately the spoon again was not clean. My only complaint is that my silverware was not clean so I asked for more. The french toast was out of this world! Their grits were just as creamy and good as the other reviews I had read. We were not disappointed! I got the strawberry stuffed french toast with over easy eggs, bacon and grits. it was like apple pie in a biscuit! We waited a little while for our food but not too long. Our first café opened for breakfast at about 7am one morning in 1993. The biscuits were excellent and we loved the apple butter. The server brought us hot fluffy biscuits and apple butter to enjoy while we waited for our order. to take our order, however we took extra time to decide what to order since it was our first time here. We didn't have to wait but a few minutes for a server. It was not busy and we were seated right away. This was my first visit to The Flying Biscuit cafe and I was not disappointed.
